What this issue means
BookPreflight does not attempt to bypass passwords or permissions. The safe path is to export an unrestricted print PDF from a source file you are authorized to use.

How to correct the source file

Open the authorized editable source or unlocked original.

Export a new print PDF without security restrictions.

Do not upload passwords or confidential credentials.
Verify the exported PDF, not the preset name
Keep the editable source and original PDF. Export a new file, run the complete scan again and review every remaining finding. A repair is only labelled safe after loss checks and a full deterministic post-flight.
